Sailing Boat Passengers
Wanted to visit Gallipoli where alot of Australian soldiers were killed during WW1. It was beautifully maintained and a very special place to visit. Some of the lads on the boat were trying to impress the girls, I think, by diving quite high up from the ship. I thought I can do that too, it looks easy. Seems higher when you jump though. My shorts ended up around my ankles! It was a three day boat cruise on a Gulet (Turkish wooden sailing boat) which was quite nice with great food. I was though the only one that felt very ill on one particularily rough stretch of water. The group was fun but not loud which I had heard had ruined many other boat trips. Very relaxing.

Relaxing...
Tour Group in Capadoccia
The What Hotel?!
These are two girls from the sailboat cruise I was on. We got on well and travelled together for a while. I had had quite alot to drink this night and I was no doubt saying silly things. But I was quite happy! This is a group of people I was on a day trip with. Next to me is Leah from Brisbane who I became friends with. We met many times in London and Australia subsequently. We were going for a walk amongst the strange rock formations. Thought this was an amusing hotel name I saw just near a underground bar we were visiting.

My Luggage Around the Med
Mud Baths
Olu Deniz
This is my complete luggage I carried with me around Greece and Turkey. I was quite impressed so I had a photo taken. I had learnt to travel lightly after many trips to date. Its so much easier to travel with if its small. It contains camera gear in the lower black section and the rest: guide books, clothes, etc in the blue section. Tripod, sleeping bag underneath Had fun applying all this mud and then letting it dry before washing it off. It is supposedly good for you. I was sunbaking down there on the point with the girls and then I decided to swim across the chanel with my camera held above the water to then walk up here for this photo. They thought I was mad. They waved to me when I was up here. I saw a postcard like this photo, so I wanted to replicate it.

Melons
I was waiting for a bus here when this car pulled up. I was astounded to see it. The lady passenger opened up the side door and she had the melons all in the footwell and in her lap. It occurred to me to quickly take a photo.
