Only way to get here was to fly 30 minutes south of Aswan. Lots of men with machine guns to protect tourists.	What trip would be complete to Egypt without sailing on a Faluka on the Nile.	Had a close look at the pyramids and was very impressed. Some people think they are smaller in real life, but they were huge to me. Someone said the view is good from the sand hills in the distance, so I did the long walk through the sand to get this photo.
Visited a few tombs in the Valley of the Kings. They were all very interesting. Surprised this photo turned out well as you were not allowed to use flash and too many people for a tripod. Rested the camera on a railing.
